My LPC Hours
Going through the setup wizard means you already:
Entered a supervisor
Created a site
Set your hours requirements
I suggest you then:
Customize some activities by adding some of your own, or hiding ones you don't use (you have to subscribe to do this).
Import prior hours using the Import feature in Settings.
Set a site's default supervisor: go into Settings / Sites and assign a default supervisor to a site (this simply means that when you are entering time and indicate a site, it automatically fills in the supervisor field for you).
Review your Hours pane and see what days you forgot to enter time by looking at the dots.
Answer this month's Reflection question and read others' responses.
Create your first report.
In Settings tap Import and download the sample .csv file, or download the one below.
If you are using an existing spreadsheet, first make a copy.
The spreadsheet to be imported must have ONLY the following column labels, in this order:
Date (must be in mm-dd-yyyy format)
Activity
Site
Supervisor
Hours (must be in decimal format (2.5, not 2:30) and rounded to 15 minute increments)
Notes
All activity, site, and supervisor names in your spreadsheet must match the names of an activity, site, and supervisor in Settings.
Direct activities require a supervisor.
Export your spreadsheet as a .csv file. You can do this in Excel or Apple Numbers.
Go to Settings, tap Import, and then tap Import CSV.
The app will then state how many entries will be imported. Check this number against the number of rows in your spreadsheet. You can still cancel at this step before any data is imported.
No, because those service do not allow you to export your own data.
The best I can tell you is that you should be keeping your own spreadsheet if you are using those services. Then if you decide that My LPC Hours is a better service for you, you can then import your own spreadsheet.
In Settings choose Activities
Find and tap on the activity under either Direct Activities or Indirect Activities.
To hide it, toggle the "Active" button off. To delete it, tap the trash can in the upper right.
You cannot delete the standard activities that come with the app.
You can delete an activity only if you created it, and it is not already used in a time entry.
You can hide any activity at any time.
One question each month. Each question is posed as an opportunity to reflect upon an aspect of our professional development while we navigate our way through our intern and associate phases. Supervision is an absolute must, but it also helps to consider issues and questions that challenge our thinking and get us to explore the nuances of our chosen profession.
Sharing your response to a question is anonymous, showing only your initials and state. There is no "liking" or "promoting" or responding. It is just a wall against which to throw your thoughts and see how others are responding.
The dots represent days with time entries. This is useful if You want to know, at a glance, whether you remembered to enter time on a particular day.
The colors of the dots represent the category of the entry. If there is at least one direct hour, or indirect hour, our supervision hour, there will be a corresponding dot.
Red: Direct hours.
Blue: Indirect hours.
Green: Supervision hours.
Each row can represent individual entries, a day's total hours, or a week's total hours. If you choose the first option and put one entry per row, you can also include the notes for your direct and indirect time entries. The day and week options allow only for notes from supervision time entries.
Below are samples of what the report looks like for each method.
Which one should you use? Ask your supervisor. They may want to see everything you do, or they just want the total cumulative numbers in the bottom row.
Make the supervisor inactive. This hides that supervisor from the pull-down menus for time entries, and from the recipients list in the Reports window.
Deleting a supervisor is possible only if that supervisor is not already used in a time entry. In this case the trash can icon will not be visible.
To make them inactive:
1. In the Dashboard in the upper right tap Menu / Settings / Supervisors
2. Find and tap on the supervisor's name.
3. To make it inactive, toggle the "Active" button off.
Users are given 5 signature requests each calendar month.
First, organize the report:
Choose the date range
Filter by site and/or supervisor (optional)
Select which supervisors should receive the report (only active supervisors are shown)
Select the organization method: by entry, day, or week
Indicate whether you want notes included in the Notes field
Then select “Send for Signature.”
You and your supervisor(s) will receive an email with a link to sign the report. Your supervisor must also initial each row.
When all parties have signed, another email is sent to all parties with the document and audit trail as a PDF attachment.
The document is also downloadable from the Signature Requests page (pencil icon in the Reports pane).
If your supervisor(s) reject your report, they have the option of entering an explanation. This text appears in the Signature Requests page.

It is based on your monthly averages:
• Up to version 1.12.1, Monthly Average was the average of all months since your licensure date;
• With version 1.13.1, Monthly Average is a rolling 90-day average.
Estimated Completion Date is when you complete your direct or indirect hours, whichever takes longer.
I made the change to a rolling 90-day average because it better reflects our development as counselors and increased activity levels, particularly for those of us who go straight into private practice.
Note: If direct hours are completed before you complete your indirect hours, then excess direct hours offset the indirect requirement (at least, in Texas, they do). This is already factored into the estimated completion date because the required indirect hours decreases with each excess direct hour.
• “Monthly Average” is shown only 30 days after your first time entry.
• The estimated completion date will be shown only 90 days after your first time entry.
